Initiated in 2009, the Kentucky Crossroads Regional Economic Development Coalition is an alliance of economic development organizations in 11 Central Kentucky counties, including Anderson, Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln, Marion, Mercer, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Taylor, and Washington Counties.
Kentucky Crossroads is a region of vibrant, progressive communities in Kentucky’s heartland that are strategically positioned between the Louisville and Lexington metropolitan areas with business development assets and advantages easily accessible via four major highway corridors (KY 55, US 127, US 150, and US 27) to the Martha Layne Collins/Bluegrass Parkway, Louie B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway, and Interstates 64, 65, and 75.
The coalition partners of Kentucky Crossroads emphasize “collaborative regionalism” as their guiding principle to promote three objectives:
