              Documenting the Historic African-American Business District

              The Heart of Danville is documenting the history and significance of the Second Street African-American Business District. HOD is inviting anyone with memories or old pictures of the business district to attend Story Gathering Day 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at the First Baptist Church on the corner of Walnut and Second Streets. Bring your old photographs, newspaper clippings, and stories to help piece together this important history. Refreshments will be provided.
