              Event Description:
              Who: The Danville-Boyle County African American Historical Society, the Danville-Boyle County Public Library, and the Heart of Danville Main Street Program 

              What: Soul of Second Street Festival commemorating our community’s historic African-American business district that was once centered on Second Street in downtown Danville. There will be historical displays, food, and live music.

              When: Saturday, August 8 from 5 to 10 PM

              Where:                Second Street in Constitution Square Historic Park

              Why: To  bring this this chapter of Danville's history to life and to bring our community together in celebration!
