It's been too darn long since we had a film festival in Danville, so we decided to DO something about it! Join the Community Arts Center for the first (of hopefully many) Short-n-Sweet Film Festival.
FILMMAKERS: WE NEED YOUR FILMS!
We are accepting entries into the following categories:
-Vine (1 to 6 seconds)
-Comedy short (7 secs to 10 min)
-Dramatic short (7 secs to 10 min)
-Documentary short (7 secs to 10 min)
-Challenge short (7 secs to 10 min) [must incorporate a banana peel, an image of the Mona Lisa, a reference to Ephraim McDowell, exactly $4.01, a scene in front of or inside the Community Arts Center, and the phrase “I’ll just keep it short-n-sweet, you can judge me if you want.”]
Entry fees: $5 per short, or $1 per Vine. (Limit 3 entries per crew...don't hog the limelight!)
Entry deadline: Aug. 1, which means that is the absolute LAST DAY your entry can be postmarked and be eligible for the festival.
