With the popularity of Small Business Saturday in November, we thought "why not love local every month?" And with that, Shop Second Saturdays was born. Every second Saturday of the month, we encourage folks to shop downtown Danville. To help, each month we will have a 'punch card' or a promotion to encourage shoppers to visit and buy in our locally-owned downtown stores and restaurants.
For May, we want to celebrate our mom's and we encourage everyone to come downtown and purchase their Mother's Day Gifts. In Weisiger Park, the Community Arts Center will be hosting a mini-Starry Night Studios to allow kids to paint a small picture for their mom. We will also offer live entertainment from 11am-2pm.
