The Heart of Danville Main Street Program and the Danville Irish Festival will sponsor a “Shamrock Stroll," 4-7 p.m., Friday in downtown Danville. Restaurants and bars will feature Irish-inspired art, music, and food and drink specials. Participating businesses include: Beer Engine, Bluegrass Pizza and Pub, The Hub Coffee House and Café, Mermaids, Pescara, and V the Market. The Danville Celtic Band and bagpiper, Keith Murphy, will perform along Main Street, and the following bands will play at designated locations: The Draper Family at Beer Engine; Kieran Cunningham at V the Market; The Pioneer Playhouse Musicians at Pescara; and The Remnant at The Hub. Several downtown retailers also feature Irish-inspired items and will be open until 7 p.m.
