              Event Description:
              Our communities are facing a drug crisis. We have loved ones overdosing daily. This has to stop. Last year at a community action meeting in Boyle County, we heard from those families directly impacted by drug abuse. Their cries for help affording the cost of treatment were heard. We organized a 5K run/walk immediately and raised over $1000; which covered expenses of several people in our area for rehab services! We are hoping this year is even bigger! We want to able to make a larger impact in our communities. 
              We walk/run in memory of those who have lost their battle with addiction. 
              All money raised goes into an account with the Boyle County Agency For Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP) and is distributed by them directly to the rehab facility. We cover many expenses for all different types of rehab services for residents in several counties. 

              We are hosting another 5K this year and we hope you can join us if you're local or enjoy to travel.
