Show the love to Pioneer Playhouse on Valentine's Day at their Mardi Gras Valentine's Day Bash! A silent auction will be part of the fun, and will include artwork from local artists, tickets to various regional venues such as the Louisville Zoo and a Cincinnati Reds game, plus a Smoky Mountain getaway and much more.
The evening will open with lively New Orleans-style jazz played by Five, a jazz quartet made up of local musicians Jack Covell, Sam Carr, Eben Henson, Pete McCaffrey, and Mark Gardner. Five will be followed by the ever popular high-energy dance band, Dump Truck on the Run, headed up by Danville’s own Brian Storz.
Authentic Cajun fare will be prepared by Smokey and the Brisket catering, a new venture by Kyn Wilcher of Danville. Wilcher has been preparing Cajun food for over twenty years.
All proceeds from the event and silent auction will benefit Pioneer Playhouse, which is a 501 © 3 non-profit organization that has been bringing arts to the Bluegrass for over six decades.
