An alumnus of Saturday Night Live and Chicago’s famed Second City, Jim Belushi brings to the stage an improvised comedy sketch show featuring his Board of Comedy members Larry Joe Campbell, Josh Funk, Megan Grano, and Brad Morris. After his two-year stint on SNL, Jim appeared in over 75 movies, including Red Heat, About Last Night, The Principal, and K-9, and five television series, including eight years on According to Jim and, most recently, CBS’s The Defenders. In 2011, Jim gained rave reviews on Broadway as Harry Brock in Born Yesterday. However, drama and comedy are not Jim’s only talents; for the past fifteen years, he has been singing, dancing, and playing harmonica in the Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd and with his own band, The Sacred Hearts. Jim returns to his improv roots this fall on the Newlin Hall stage with an incredibly talented and hilarious group of actors. The audience dictates people, places and things to create this one-time only comedy sensation!
