The 2016 "Digging Up Secrets" will focus on how to use information contained in documents that are often overlooked by genealogists and historians, such as store ledgers, church and funeral records, diaries and more. In addition to hearing two speakers, participants will practice "digging up secrets" found in actual historical documents archived in the Lincoln Museum. Attendance is limited to 50 and pre-regristration is required by May 9, 2016. The cost is $30 per attendee and includes numerous handouts and a delicious lunch.
