Each fall Forkland celebrates its rural past with a wonderful fall festival of crafts, music, food, games and historical displays. Festival goers can purchase local crafts and watch them being made, visit a log cabin, the Lincoln Museum and even an old steam tractor. You can experience a horse drawn wagon ride to a lovely waterfall, listen to history skits and Old Time music and take a chance on an Amish made quilt at the silent auction. Come and run through the scenic Knobs on Forkland's backroads in the Fox & Hound Race. You won't want to miss all the delicious food. Saturday, start your day with a yummy pancake breakfast. All day each day vendors offer chicken, pork chops, country ham & biscuits, pizza, burgers, fruit cobbler, homemade cake, ice cream, cider, sorghum, honey & homemade bread. Be sure and stay for the much beloved Old Country Supper Theatre. The beans start cooking at 6:00 each morning and smell delicious all day. Talented local performers will entertain during the supper while you enjoy all the beans and cornbread you can eat!
