"En Plein Air" showcases brand new work by members of the Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky (PAACK). The phrase 'en plein air' simply means 'outside' and it generally refers to the act of creating art outdoors. This dedication to outdoor art is what unifies the members of PAACK. During the summer months, PAACK meets regularly for organized 'paint-outs' in the community, visiting local farms, parks, and historic landmarks. In the winter months, the group meets at the Arts Center for figure drawing and still life sessions.
