Join us for a full day of whiskey-speak, where you will tap into the 42 years of bourbon-making experience of Whiskey Advocate Lifetime Achievement Award recipient David Scheurich, the retired General Manager and Distiller at Woodford Reserve. Guests will learn about the history of whiskey in the United States, how to judge a good bourbon, and how bourbon gets its complex flavors and diverse aromas. Classes will also cover the art and science of whiskey making, including the fermentation, distillation, and maturation of America's native spirit. A personal, behind-the-scenes tour of our sweet mash bourbon-making process will conclude the session.
