Boyle County jobless rate drops to 3.6%

DANVILLE, Ky. — Boyle County closed out 2025 with a markedly improved labor picture, as new data from the Kentucky Center for Statistics show unemployment falling to 3.6% in December, down sharply from 5.2% in December 2024.
According to the preliminary December 2025 Kentucky Labor Force Estimates, Boyle County reported a civilian labor force of 13,850, with 13,347 residents employed and 503 unemployed.
