Advocate-Messenger: Transitional home turned away from neighborhood hopes to open on Industrial Foundation land
"So if you tell me there’s a place right down the road that’s going to have eight possibilities of somebody that’s going to show up for work on time … they’re going to be drug free, they’re going to appreciate a job, you know — when are you going to build the next one? To me, I just see it as a huge opportunity.” -- Joey Harris, Plant Manager, Denyo Manufacturing Corporation
Thanks to the Boyle County Industrial Foundation for its community-focused leadership of an innovative workforce development initiative in partnership with Seeing Hearts Ministry. This initiative will provide an accountable path to gainful employment through a transitional residential program for former incarcerated men, located strategically within our industrial park. This initiative is supported by Develop Danville, Inc.'s Workforce Development Committee.
